“Prior to our arrival, he had described the Blue Mountains as the “Grand Canyon with trees,” and he was right. Peter knew all the tricks to keep us moving as the crowds got thicker during the day, and we were impressed with his own travel experience outside of Australia. (He’s probably seen more of the US than we have.) We recommend Bailey’s Sydney Tours without reservation.”

“Had a great day with Peter as he took us from Sydney to the Blue Mountains. He managed to get us around the larger tour groups, took us to great spot for lunch, was knowledgeable about what we were seeing, and fun to chat with about living in Australia.”

“Peter Bailey greeted us at our hotel with a very comfortable van for the two-hour drive to the mountains. There, we spent several hours at Scenic World, hiking and enjoying the fantastic scenery. Peter stayed with us during our hike, providing very knowledgeable and interesting commentary about the area and its history. He planned our trek through the park to avoid crowds and to maximize our time enjoying its natural beauty. Following a late lunch in a picturesque nearby town, Peter drove us back to Sydney, all the while answering our myriad questions about Australia.”

“Peter arrived at agreed time (go early!) and was professional, knowledgeable about the area, had great ideas for places to see and do and was a lot of fun! We don’t generally like tours and this was perfect! He took us to very cool places for lunch and for coffee (not touristy and interesting) and was flexible about how we did things throughout the day. I wish we had signed up for the 1 day about Sydney journey with him too as it sounds really comprehensive and fun- especially if you don’t have a lot of time! Overall Peter was amazing! Highly recommend him and his tour! (Also is very knowledgeable about Australian pop culture through the years!)

“We fell in love with Australia and this was partly because of our guide Peter. We were fairly flexible in our day and we ended up with two amazing hikes, delicious food, and an understanding of Australia that we never would have learned without a fantastic guide. ”

“We enjoyed the Blue Mountains unaffected by the crowds — due to Peter’s excellent knowledge and planning. 5 stars doesn’t seem enough. He is exceptional. My husband and I are from Texas and are tough critics. We would do any tour that Peter offered”

“Peter’s tour of the Blue Mountains was more than we could have expected when we booked our tour. Peter was great about listening to our preferences and tailoring the day to our travel style – which involved avoiding crowds and hiking to beautiful water falls. He answered a myriad of questions about all things Australian and stopped for lunch at a charming local restaurant. We were thrilled with our activities and thoroughly enjoyed our day hiking in the mountains with Peter”

“I had a great day in the Blue Mountains with Peter. He picked me up at my hotel right on time, and we headed off into the mountains. I told Peter I didn’t want to do a lot of tourist stuff, and that I was vegan. He took me to some nice walking trails where there were few tourists, and also found a restaurant where I could have a vegan lunch. Best of all, he was quite funny and engaging, and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations. If I come back to Sydney, I will book him for a tour again. Highly recommend!”

“Our family (two adults and two teenagers) did a Blue Mountain tour day with Peter. He was great — interesting, amenable and informative (our kids say he is their favorite of all the guides we worked with) AND he very kindly provides a lot of ‘extra’ city information as soon as you book with him, which I really appreciated. We aren’t tour people, but the next time we are in Sydney Peter is who I will contact”
